The building industry is one sector that has created huge opportunities for both the skilled and unskilled in Lagos to earn a living.
But this, no doubt, has led to increase in sand mining activities in parts of the state, with attendant environmental and economic consequences.
Against this backdrop, correspondent Innocent Onoh takes a look at sand mining and its implications in Lagos.

    Its denies sea animals a breeding environment, that makes them extinct and disappear from that sea zone,seasonal Manning should be considered where it will give the animals a breeding space before Manning.
