Malam Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, in a statement in Abuja on Monday, May 25, 2020 said President Buhari stated this in a message to African leaders to mark the ”Africa Day 2020”.

The event was commemorated by the African Union Commission in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO).

The Nigerian leader, therefore, called for peace on the continent as a prerequisite for sustainable development.
